Where did the idea for What I Would Do come from?

The idea came from past conversations with friends about outlandish scenarios and how we would survive them. But, as friends do,  they bash your ideas and tell you how it really is.

Why makes this show different from all of the other great television content that’s out there now?

Each episode is completely different from the last. Each episode focuses on a genre to parody, a scenario that would never occur and a ever-changing cast of characters. The humor is crude, slightly vulgar and a bit witty.

What are some influences behind the show?

Some direct influences for the show are, "Drunk History", Finland television pop culture and the random thoughts that fills our writing teams brains.

What are the biggest challenges for the show?

A: The pilot was a bit of challenge, getting it done for nothing with and all volunteer crew, helping make it happen. With everyone working other jobs coordinating the schedule was a bit if a task.

Where do you see this show headed?

A: Right now we’re just letting ideas develop for future episodes.

What’s is the main goal you have for the show?

A: really just get it out there and get it viewed by as many people as possible. We would love for this to go form VOD to a cable network.

What is you process when writing episodes?

A: Every writer on the show has his or her own process, take Doug for example.  Doug doesn’t outline but he will take the scenario, and just start writing. He has no preconceived notions for the characters; he lets them and the situation develop in it sown. Once he has his first draft, he lets it sit for a day or two and than will go through and edit and rewrite where necessary.  He doesn’t “self edit” or question what he’s’ writing, that way the writing is raw and real.

“Pilot video was good. I can see where this is going and cannot wait to see more. The three of them seem to work well together and know how to dig in on each other.”

“I really enjoy the idea of shootin' the s*** and turning those conversations into visuals. I enjoy the banter. There doesn't seem to be a complete comfort in front of the camera, but I expect that will flow better with more episodes.”

“It was dark and funny. The banter between the guys was a little stilted but I laughed and can see watching more of this.”
